The admission of Mr Madzlan as Senior Partner, with effect from\u00a01 January 2026<\/b>, marks a significant addition to the firm\u2019s senior leadership. Beyond Malaysia, he is well recognised as an Islamic finance expert, particularly in Central Asia. Among the projects he has been involved in are the development of Islamic banking laws in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, the Islamic Finance Master Plan for Kazakhstan, and the establishment of a Halal Industry Park in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n
He brings with him extensive experience in Islamic finance, regulatory, and Shariah-related matters, having previously held senior roles in private legal practice as well as regulatory institutions. His inclusion is expected to further strengthen the firm\u2019s capabilities in handling complex advisory matters involving Shariah, Islamic finance, and governance.<\/p>\n
